Participation is open to individuals aged 50 years and above. The Committee reserves the right to reject any application without providing reasons.
-
Jersey Fee & Payment
The S$80.00 fee covers the cost of the Tengah FC Veterans Jersey. An additional S$20.00 applies if the optional T-shirt is selected. Fees are non-refundable once the order is processed. A nominal charge per player may be imposed to engage a referee for friendly matches, payable on the match day.
-
Medical Fitness
Participants must maintain valid personal accident and health insurance throughout their participation as the Club does not provide group insurance coverage.
-
Code of Conduct
Participants shall uphold sportsmanship, respect officials, opponents, and teammates at all times. Zero tolerance for violent conduct, discrimination, harassment, or unsocial behavior. Consumption of alcohol before or during training/matches is strictly prohibited. Smoking is prohibited within training premises.
-
Attendance & Participation
The Club commits to organizing training sessions and/or friendly matches regularly (max twice per month), subject to field availability and weather conditions. Additional sessions may be arranged based on participant interest. Participants will be notified of upcoming sessions via email or whatsapp. Persistent absentism after confirmation and without valid reason may result in review of participation status.
-
Training & Match Protocols
Proper warm-up and cool-down protocols are mandatory. Participants must wear appropriate footwear and shin guards during matches. The Club provides basic first aid, but participants are responsible for personal medication (inhalers, etc.). Matches are structured with modified rules to reduce injury risk (unlimited substitutions, water breaks).
-
Financial Matters
Jersey orders must be paid via PayNow to UEN 202325755W with reference format "TengahFCVeteran - [Participant Name]". All funds collected are used solely for Club operations (field bookings, equipment, tournament fees). Financial statements are presented at the Annual General Meeting. Additional contributions for tournaments or special events require majority approval. Referee fees are collected on a per-match basis when applicable.
-
Disciplinary Actions
Violations of rules may result in: (1) Verbal warning, (2) Written warning, (3) Suspension (1-3 months), or (4) Termination of participation. Fighting, doping, or criminal behavior results in immediate termination. Appeals must be submitted in writing to the Committee within 7 days.
-
Insurance & Liability
The Club does not maintain insurance coverage for participants. All participants must obtain and maintain their own personal accident and health insurance. Participants engage entirely at their own risk. The Club, its committee members, and affiliated parties are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages sustained during club activities, except where caused by gross negligence.
-
